Tips to create the perfect party hair

Want to look glam around the dinner table? Maybe you have a party coming up and want a show stopping hair style. If you are looking for the perfect party hair, then look no further. We’ve put together some of the best hair styles that are sure to turn heads!

Whether you’re looking for bouncy blow dry tips or a chic up do, here’s some ideas and tips to help you look party ready...

The bouncy blow dry

What better way to step into the party season, than a gorgeous bouncy blow dry. Whether you visit us in salon to achieve this look or have the equipment to do it at home, a blow dry is one of the go to looks for this years festive season. Prep the hair using heat protection then start blow drying your hair with a round brush to perfect those waves. Finish with a hair serum or oil for a nice, shiny finish.

The slick back pony

Last minute party plans? Then the slick back ponytail might be the one for you. If you have straight or a slight wave in your hair, brush this to a neat ponytail at the back of your head and use a good quality hair elastic to tie up your hair and keep this in place. Take a small piece of hair from the bottom of your ponytail and wrap this around your hair elastic, then use a bobby pin to pin this into place. This will give you the perfect sleek ponytail without a peek of your hair elastic.

     The half up, half down

If you are in the mood for an easy but stylish look, the half up, half down is a great option. Gather the top section of your hair into a ponytail, bun or plait and let it fall down the middle of your head. Then simply style how you wish, whether you want to go for a curly look or straight and sleek vibe. Why not add some accessories for an even more festive look such as bows or sparkle hair clips.

The sleek blow dry

Similar to the bouncy blow dry, the sleek blow dry is achieved in the same way just without the curl to your hair. Instead of using a round blow dry brush opt for a large paddle brush instead to smooth those ends and have a sleek finish. Use a serum to finish off the hair, this will give the hair a perfect shine and tame any frizz.

The tousled up do

For those last-minute festive plans, a quick up do is all you need. If you have bangs or any face framing you want to leave out, section these off to start with. Add a texturing spray or dry shampoo to your hair to help keep hair in place and to add volume. Next pull your hair into a loose ponytail and wrap around to create a bun. Secure this with bobby pins and gently pull little strands of hair to loosen it up and give that effortless feel.
